So I haven't cleared Last Steps of Faith yet, despite trying for about two hours tonight with some FC buddies. There was some tension in the group from the randoms we got as to whether or not positioning after the DPS check matters.
In our experience, the only time our group was able to get through Nidhogg's ultimate ability was when we stood in the circles, one person to a circle - however, this attempt also cleared the adds quicker than almost any other attempt, giving us plenty of time to arrange ourselves throughout the arena. Some in the group and in our free company insisted that stacking to eat the damage was the way to do it, but that one run suggests otherwise.
My question is this: after the DPS check, do raiders need to group up for shielding and AoE healing, or do they need to spread out and occupy the circles, one player to a circle?
