Which are the best Soul of the Crafter

I know best can be somewhat subject here, but I'm mulling over which to take now that all my crafts are leveled to 60 (or will be soon enough). ALC seems to have gotten a massive boost this patch while WVR has a plethora of options. Anywho, some suggestions and whatnot would be greatly appreciated.

ALC, due to the Luminous Fibers. Beyond that, personal preference.

Around on my server, most people went BSM/WVR specialist, so you'll be hard pressed to find people who can actually make specialist-only belt/boots/accessories and some of the tools. A few people went GSM/CRP/LTW/ALC for those reasons, in addition to BSM/WVR. There's just too much a BSM and a WVR can do to gear up relative to stats overall; BSM makes every tool except ALC tool, WVR tool, WVR offhand, GSM offhand, CUL tool, FSH tool - I believe. As for WVR, it does make the chestpiece/hat/gloves/pants for crafting, while LTW makes boots/belt. GSM makes rings/earrings and WVR tool, CRP makes WVR offhand, GSM offhand, necklace/bracelet. ARM makes CUL tool, ALC tool; all this explains why people go for BSM and WVR. Which means if you want to be self-sufficient, that's your best bet, but if you know crafters? Feel free to complement them with the ones they don't have and exchange pieces!

SE changes it up every patch so if you want to stay on top of things make an alt, spend red scrips to switch souls or wait for the next patch when they take off the specialization requirement.

I'm BSM-CRP-LTW myself, my wife is WVR-GSM-CUL. My alt has ARM and two other, her has alt ALC and two others. We do OK.

When you change specialists, do you actually lose the soul stone? Currently, I'm GSM, LTW and WVR. But, to eventually make the new gear, I will need ALC. What would happen if I changed from say GSM to ALC, and then changed back to GSM once I've finished my main body pieces?

I'm BSM-CRP-LTW myself, my wife is WVR-GSM-CUL. My alt has ARM and two other, her has alt ALC and two others. We do OK.

All of the old mats are now non-specialist, as is all of the old i220 gear. The only thing specialization is for in this patch is crafting the new i190 gathering/crafting gear, luminous fibers, plus a couple Nidhogg-themed flufferies and the new crafting/gathering food that isn't really needed.
