2* hq macro (all nq mats/no rng skills) - Extremely high stats required

Interesting.... If I meld craftsmanship to my chest and finish making all my mainhand and offhand i195s I'll have more than those stats without any soulstone or additonal melds on my main/offhand (they would be blank) using onion soup. I melded one V materia to basically all my core gear except rings and then planned smart IV melds in slots 2 and 3, and III melds in slots 4 and 5 and was able to hit those marks.

Really? Pretty sure you can't come anywhere near 1004 Craftsmanship, 1018 Control and 474 CP with the melds you mentioned, as well as using non-control food and no soulstone. The second link I provided is the bare minimum melds to hit them, and everything, including MH/OH's, is pentamelded with V's in every 100% slot.

I am sure those stats can't be reached with the meld you described

even max control meld (without soul stone and melding in tools) can only reached 937 control before food buff

I agree with you. I put V in all my guaranteed slots and capped pretty much almost everything except chest and tools. Tools I only did IVs because there's so many to meld. That said I ended up with around 1036 craft, 945ish control, and max CP (with soul). No food.

I put craft on my tools to test out new macro possibilities but I may remeld some control if there isn't a worthwhile craft threshold. With the unknown of upcoming 4 star, I just feel safer running with higher craftsmanship though.

I decided to work off the other minimum melds and I slightly edited the Ariyala build to fit 1007/1001/480 (for the rotation above). I removed as many Vs as I could, and in the end it would only need 10 Vs; 1 Control V and 9 Craftsmanship Vs (as they're the less expensive ones between Control and Craftsmanship).

Base stats are 1007 craft, 970 control and 430 CP with HQ seafood stew.
Total stats should work out at 1007 craft / 1001 control / 480 CP.

The simulator isn't 100% accurate & there's something wrong with Ingenuity. Ignore everything apart from progress skills & we get the following:


Progress needed is 1436, MM gives 473 leaving 963 progress left. We have 4 careful synthesis 2s being affected by ingenuity so we need each careful synthesis 2 to increase progress by 241 (963/4 = 240.75)

My craftsmanship is 1011 however even after using a hq emerald soup (increased craftsmanship to 1086), I still couldn't get careful synthesis 2 to increase progress by 241+ & was at 239 until I used the +5 craftsmanship fc buff (craftsmanship now 1091). Unfortunately the original macro as shown below is the only reliable macro so far
