I wish that the Gobwalker played the a4 theme on a separate note.

One thing I'd prefer instead is for mount music to have priority. Nothing ruins the experience like flying just a tad low (or running in ARR zones), clipping a FATE zone, and hearing that ridiculous fanfare completely override the music for your mount. Even worse when you have no choice (referrring to ARR zones mostly) but to run through the FATE and the boss music completely taking over.
They just need to make it so the fate music doesn't play at all unless you are actively participating in that fate. I will run completely around them to avoid the music, not the monsters. One thing I'd prefer instead is for mount music to have priority. On a side note, I wish they allowed us to toggle things easier, rather than just sound on/off. If we could keybind mount music and background music it would be wonderful. I love most the music in this game but after awhile some of the themes become unbearable. Like Yanxia or any city music. In would love to just switch off background music temporarily rather than shut down all sounds.
To address the issue of losing incentive to gather certain mounts, it really is simple.
Make certain music unlocked via collecting those mounts.
Tadah!
Its really easy for them to do this. In fact if they put in the effort to allow us to customize aspects of the game (like WoW's LUA), we could do it ourselves.
Huh? According to everything Soken said on the topic of letting us switch music or having different mounts play different music it is not easy for them. So... I'd be curious to know when or in which interview he revised that or what evidence you have that hes lying - or why you know better what they can or cant do than their sound director who explained multiple times that switching music isnt easy. It should be. But it isnt.
Sorry for topping an old post, I searched google about it and found this post. Saw the one reply and had feedback for it.
