Sch Materia melds & Relic weapon stats

So currently my Scholar is sitting at around 354 Accuracy at ilevel 227, and as i'm looking to get into raiding now that raid finder has been introduced i was wondering how i should meld Materia onto my armour items, and how i should allocate stats onto my ilevel 240 Anima.

Also wondering if my gear placement could be improved in anyway for better starting total accuracy.

I would put accuracy until capped and crit after then. Maybe just personal opinion but for me accuracy > crit > piety > det < spell speed

This tier's raid, if you're at 600 ACC you're good to go (A5S to A8S). The rule of thumb for accuracy is: if you're going to bother DPSing, capping ACC is your priority.

I can't see what you have for gear at the moment but if you grab the crafted i220 body and a crafted i220 ring and penta meld them both with accuracy (T5's in the guaranteed slots and T4 in the others) that will give you a solid bump for Raiding.
Stat wise you are looking at
MND>Acc>Crt>Spd>DET.

As support heals you shouldn't need any extra Piety other than what you end up with on gear ~13k

I do not Raid and am fine with my acc for dungeons. I am going to fill the bar on crit and split it on SS and Det.

For your 240 relic, cap Accuracy and Critical Hit Rate. For the rest of your gear, prioritise Critical Hit Rate and enough Accuracy to meet the cap for the melds. If you need more HP to survive an encounter, you may want to meld a Vitality V on a few of your accessories, if not all of them.

I do not think it is worth it to meld extra Piety V on the materia slots for the body pieces, but Piety that is already given on a piece of gear gives you more leeway during progression for mistakes. Spell speed, determination, and piety are about the same to me for a SCH in terms of usefulness/utility.

I have as others stated ACC/CRIT relic just finished it yesterday.

The Weeping City boots; Chest; Pants are really nice, I used crafted chest with Prototype Midan Boots/Pants and 4 crafted accessories before.

This is only a "for now" set I hope to get the Upgrade item in A6 today and so ill remove some accuracy on my belt and soon the Primal ring as well.

Stats With Baked Pipira Pipira as the ideal raid food, but outside of Party. Lore ring is still 230 and has a crit IV instead of Crit V so crit will go up slightly.

9 Slots have accuracy Vs (+108 +120+354 makes accuracy 582. Good for most content and can cap for a8s with pipira at 599 accuracy.) 7 Slots of Crit Vs.


NOTE: When level syncing, in places such as Athereochemical Research Facility where you are ilevel synced, therefore losing materia, your Relic WILL retain its accuracy. Which means we shouldnt have accuracy issues going into synced content anymore.
