Idea for a new healer class.


Rune Master, my boyfriend has told me that there's been a lot of threads with people requesting classes like rune master. And I'm not sure of where they are but I created an idea of my own that I would find to be amazing.

Not only will this be completely new technique for healers, but harder to master than the current healer classes.

First before I start: I love astro but the reason it isn't exciting. The obvious reason, it's based off of Sects and Cards. The Sects basically make you a WHM or SCH, okay boring. The cards are fun because of the animation and because for me, I like buffing people, but other than that? Zzzz. Again, still love AST though, but it's not much new.

My idea: It works similar to Ninja's mudra, you need to do certain combinations to get different heals. Not EVERY single power will be locked by a combination, because that would be completely too much to remember. But the main heals would be casted by a rune combination, i.e., cure 1, regen, adloquium Things like esuna and such would be normal cast.

For those who may say such as "by time the healer gets the heal off, the person could be dead and cause a wipe." Or "if they mess up it'll cause us to wipe"
First of all, it's to separate great healers from good, it's not for everyone, and nothing needs to be super easy. Those who can master it, can play it no problem.

As goes with any class, some people are worse than others.

It will raise the level of skill and allow for something new.

Shields could be runes floating around the target. Aoe heals ( like asylum) could be like Ninja's Doton. Things like that

I'd like to hear people's ideas and why you may find this to not be a successful idea.

I would truly love for this to be a new healer class, it'd be so much fun.
