    A question regarding the Materia Melder in Ishgard

    So with this Materia Melder is there a reason to bother leveling DoH jobs needed to meld materia onto certain equipment? I feel like there has to be a reason to still and I'm not seeing it.

    NPCs also charge you from my understanding. Having someone else do it or melding yourself costs nothing.

    It's costs you carb matter, which the npc doesn't ask for carb matter, he got some kind of infinite stock.

    From what I saw none of the npcs can unmeld either. You still need to go to Mutamix for that.
