Not really, a lot of people will just click yes on anything. Vote Abandon pops up Yes, Kick party member pops up Yes. See it a lot, and what about the people that do vote abandon and it does fail so they keep doing it instead of leaving?
I was running Weeping City for my second clear and the other teams wanted to vote abandon because our group was made up of 6 new players to the fight. The final part of Ozma was giving us a bit of a rough time. So while the 2 of us who cleared it are offering help to the other 6 with the fight, a few others in the alliance wanted to vote abandon, we took Ozma down to 10% and 7% both the times we had a vote abandon put into place, after both times failed the people asking for it got mad and quit out. New players joined and bam blew through Ozma and the final boss on the first try.
It just seems while most of this community asked for harder non raid content, the ones who can handle it don't want to give people who aren't used to it the chance to breathe and learn it. Pretty sad actually.

While there are plenty of groups that can make it if they just didn't abandon after two wipes, sometimes you truly can just tell when its bad. Like when half your dps keep wiping to the same AoE's in Final Steps for example.
I don't know where you get this idea lol. That seems like a vast generalization.
Yes people who spam vote abandon are annoying. It's not needed.
If a group is a lost cause I vote abandon no matter what the duty is. I don't click yes because /omg/ its a yes button!!! haha really??
If the vote abandon fails and were not clearing, I leave. No brainer.
Not gonna lie, I accidentally clicked yes on one of them because I thought it was a ready check.
I have a three strikes rule, honestly.
If we're making barely any progress and people keep dying to the same thing repeatedly, I'll usually jump out because it's a lost cause to me. Significant progress lets me bend my own rule, but rarely is that the case with most groups.
I'm the type of person that stays till the end no mater how bad the group is. Give tips, don't be mean, they will learn eventually. I HATE people who put others down and they are usually the ones that vote kick or abandon for silly reasons -_________-
"BAAAAAARD!" - 2018
Really? Cause I'm 200% positive that you and your friend Submissive Bear were two of the people in my last Ozma clear that kept screaming at my alliance to stop dying on the final phase despite us telling everyone we had 6 new players to contented with. So yes, I think Seoulstar is right in saying that overreacting plays apart in people using vote abandon and how they judge players. Given on the 3rd try we blew through Ozma and downed Calofisteri first attempt.I have a three strikes rule, honestly.
