For those vote abandon after 1-2 wipe... srsly?

This is why when I raid I switch my chat to battle because of the hot headed ocd players that rage for the dumbest things.I have nothing against new people.They have to learn and there is nothing worth getting mad about.In short I gave up on people.My character name is lost hope for a reason.I wish emotionally immature people would stop playing.

I have a three strikes rule, honestly.

If we're making barely any progress and people keep dying to the same thing repeatedly, I'll usually jump out because it's a lost cause to me. Significant progress lets me bend my own rule, but rarely is that the case with most groups.

Really? Cause I'm 200% positive that you and your friend Submissive Bear were two of the people in my last Ozma clear that kept screaming at my alliance to stop dying on the final phase despite us telling everyone we had 6 new players to contented with. So yes, I think Seoulstar is right in saying that overreacting plays apart in people using vote abandon and how they judge players. Given on the 3rd try we blew through Ozma and downed Calofisteri first attempt.

I did mention to stop dying once (I remember that part for sure, but no screaming was involved unless you consider "CAN YOU GUYS PLEASE STOP DYING." screaming), then someone else on my alliance mentioned something about our alliance carrying the rest (which wasn't true by the way, we had a bad tank, bad bard, and one of the Summoners had low DPS).

I did leave after the third wipe, but only because the person I was helping decided to leave. If you downed him after we left, that would make that the fourth attempt.

A final steps of fate run I was in did a vote abandon after a few wipes but I felt it was warranted. Our group kept wiping at the same spot because the dps just wasn't high enough to kill the 3 adds before the knock back. After a few wipes at that same spot it was clear that the group just didn't have the dps to clear the encounter. It wouldn't have made sense to just mindlessly keep ramming our head into it till the timer ran out.

Yup gotta analyze the situations in which makes a party wipe. Lack of DPS is probably a NO go. Unless everyone can boost their stats a bit with food or LB the last add, it might be impossible. But in other situations it might work if theres team work.

Our last 6 run from 24 man raid groups totally failed (We had tough luck with group C keep wiping on Meteor) and I know it's pain getting wipe by one person mistake. But I don't understand those people who cast vote to abandon after 1-2 wipes. Unless there is a troll or people equipment start breaking, there is no point voting imho. I think they just want to get easy ride with raid in progress with group knows all mech but c'mon be a man and take 30min penalty!

But wait o.o
