There are a few problems with this community and their reaction to the various changes to the game. First of all, there is this unrealistic and unprecedented level of originality that everyone seems to expect from Square. If something works in FFXI or works in WoW, within reason there should be no reason to object to it being added to this game. The problem is instead of making actual arguments as to why something is bad for the game people make statements like "It was in FFXI so it can't be in this game we don't want a clone" or "That was in WoW the game is going to be just like WoW!" These are nonsensical statements and I think everyone knows that. This game is going to follow the Final Fantasy tradition and their will have to be a grind if you want to beat the most powerful bosses, that is what you should have expected coming into a Final Fantasy title.

Secondly when it comes to Square charging for the game earlier than we all expected it is simply a matter of practicality and many players seem to think we are entitled a free game until 2.0 which is of course ridiculous. Square has shown us generally what they plan to do and that plan will surely become more clear in the coming weeks, if you want to invest your money into their goal then do it if not then don't but don't try to convince them not to charge they have to or they wouldn't be doing it.

Thank you for your time and I sincerely hope that you continue to support FFXIV this has the potential to be a truly unique and great game.
