Steps: Tried to summon one of my retainers in Grocers Ward. Nothing happened and my character became stuck in place. Usually takes a few seconds, so I waited. 10 minutes later was in same state. Unable to use any commands, access menu or Esc out of it.

Solution was to force-dc (Alt + Tab) as there was nothing I could do. Tried to summon again, got problem three more times. Able to summon in some other wards, but as my first retainer primarily sells food and related goods, it's kind of irritating.
