FFXIV Always load in windowed mode

Got same issue since patch and been using the same workaround. Another issue was the full screen mode ignoring the FPS limit. Could set it to 30 cap and it would still play at 60 fps, but last time I checked it's back to normal.

Can confirm, more is needed than just setting top and left to '0' and setting the width/height to my resolution is a better fix in combination with the 0's

Indeed. Mine was fine originally, so that went unnoticed by me. It wasn't until others began reporting the window size was still incorrect that I realized that and additional edit to the resolution may be necessary in some cases.

Having this issue as well since the start of patch 3.3. I use Dx9.0c.

I'm having a similar issue. Ever since 3.3 update, my game opens in windowed mode on my Surface Pro 4, and I have to swap it in and out of that mode. AND it now doesn't scale the game to the screen.

Just curious I am having the same problem but I have also noticed most of the time when I load with x9 I am getting no sound as well. Sometimes I have sound but most of the time when I click to windowed mode and back to borderless I lose all sound. Even when I load up the game there is no sound. I was just curious if anyone else is also having this issue or if it is just me?
