    Question about food/gardens

    If I open my personal house to the public, will random people be able to eat my food and use my garden?

    I don't want people to eat my food that is just there for looks

    No, nobody can interact with anything in your house except being able to water your garden.

    Expanding on the above, someone without gardening permissions can only water your garden, they can't fertilise it (as that'd change your grow time).
