Legendary weapons too artificial?

The way I understood it they had specific requirements to be considered an Excalibur in his explanation. Like you couldnt just up and turn a spatha into an excalibur. He said it cannot be just any sword, but a higher tier sword with an extensive stat requirement. I think the system sounds very interesting, and if the requirements are higher it will always keep it in the hands of very few which will add to the rarity of the item.

Yes, I understand the concept insofar as that. But I guess my point is that reskinning items, either officially or unofficially, is somewhat unnatural.

Essentially this is just reskinning your sword with the Excalibur model.

Gosh, I can do that myself by manipulating .dat files lol.
