I'm sorry OP, but I can't share in your feelings.
I did the story last night, and of course the final steps fight for the first time. We only had one death and it was a monk at the near end, whom I raised.
As I was a decent CoB raider, his Morn abilities were easy for me to follow, actually I got excited when I saw them casting because it reinforced the ferocity of our foe in my eyes.
It was not hard at all, it was fun.
I did the new 24 man raid for the first time today too, we wiped once on all the harder bosses, but cleared with flying colours the second attempt, many first timer achievements were had. It was fun, wipes and all.
I loooove the 'trash has less HP but Bosses have significantly more HP' theme this patch has going.

Take a break and come back in 3.4 for echo.

I'm not the best player by any stretch. Back when the original Steps of Faith came out it was hard for me amd my friends trying to get ready for the expansion. The forums lit up about the difficultly. But me and my dirty casual party wanted that expansion, so we kept at it, about 5-10 tries a day. It took us 4 or 5 days but we finally figured out what to do through trial amd error.
Later on it was nerfed which is good for people. But to this day I am proud of me and my fc pof casual working adults for clearing the content before it was nerfed.
Keep at it, it may take more then 48 hours, but you will get it. Just don't give up, you will be proud of yourself.

Dps check isn't even hard. People were failing yesterday but after doing it for trial roulette I see groups are getting better
Huh what? Is this thread even serious?
I like how many people been whining about new 24 man is hard or nid story mode is hard. No they aren't hard, they just require more attention than older stuff. People complain because they don't have enough skills (which is even that high ceiling) but they complain because they are lazy, are in denial they need help and the last thing is don't wanna be better.

I'd like to see Square keep this pace up. The community needs to learn to work together. Just like they learn to do anything else they do in the game. Things get so easy to do that people become super toxic over any slight mistake. I cleared Steps with the first group and second attempt after we wiped. It was busy, fun, and challenging getting everyone coordinated. I also did Weeping City last night, and while I didn't clear it, I loved how challenging the boss fight was, but not how toxic the group was. I feel that if Square stops nerfing content, and forces people to work together, some of the bad attitudes will wear away. But yeah...seriously...people need to learn to play the game and stop expecting to walk into a duty, knock everything over with hardly a shove, and call it a day.I like how many people been whining about new 24 man is hard or nid story mode is hard. Excactly and many people say it's okay just being lazy even in roulettes. It's team work not solo play. When did people start play MMO to play alone? Makes no sense to me.
