Comments and questions often come up about how people struggle to MNK well. To facilitate learning, I propose this arrangement.
The neutral row -- Bootshine, True Strike, Demolish -- are the attacks that should be performed from the rear.
The alt row -- Dragon Kick, Twin Snakes, Snap Punch -- are the flank attacks.
Arm of the Destroyer, One Ilm Punch, and Rockbreaker can be performed from any direction. The oGCDs in the fourth row are just there for their similarities to Arm and Rockbreaker; this will help a little but this is an aside to the main 3x3 arrangement.
By arranging them this way, the attacks appropriate to the current Form are always the same button. If you're in Raptor form, you will push the same button regardless of what attack you want to perform, regardless of where you want to perform it. Then selecting a position is done with a simple modifier key press.
In addition, all sequences are always 1-2-3. Whether you want to do Rear-Rear-Flank or AoE-Flank-AoE or Flank-Flank-Flank. It's all the same.
For the new PGL, this is a much more intuitive arrangement than one that spreads the abilities out across a single bar, and is more representative of the abilities' functionality, and should make it easier for new martial artists to be good.
