The item description will also say if it cant be recovered after being placed.

I'd thought this was universally true, but apparently not. I noticed the other day that the chocobo stable, which is one of these destroy-on-removal items, does not have that warning in its description that most other such items have. (It does give the warning about it both when you place a stable and when you remove one, just not in the item description tooltip.) If I noticed that being the case for one item, I wonder how many other such exceptions there are.

And it has the warning for the Manor Couch item description, but this is not true as you can free remove them.
