how do i know which items will be destroyed when i remove them?
it will warn you when you try to remove it. When i packed up my room before moving to a new one. the food and armoire were destroyed
The item description will also say if it cant be recovered after being placed. I belive it also lets you know when you go to place the item too as well as when removing said item.
That's really lame I understand once you place a item it being bound to u so u can't sell it but it being destroyed is awful y is it like that?
Almost every item I place says might be destroyed if picked up it is t clear enough
I agree with you. The "bound to you once placed" rule really should have been all that's necessary. (And that is in fact already a rule for all items. If it's a type you can remove intact, then it will be bound to you and untradeable once you do.) The extra rule that varies between item types, destroying some of them if the item is removed, seems really unnecessary.
(It's so often set on some of the hardest-to-get items, too. If it were the other way around, destroying the cheapest easiest to get items, I might more readily accept treating those as disposable.)
can this get fixed please
Do you mean the message about might be destroyed when you place it?
I don't remember what the exact text says, but I believe it also says about other people with permissions on the property may remove the item so it's warning you of that. They only added it a while back when people were buying furniture of the Mogstation and other people in the house were picking up/removing the items so this warning is now there when you place anything.
The rare housing items being destroyed on removal is for that exact purpose. To keep them rare.
Sure, some are easily crafts let now, but other make little sense to return an item, like the lights, walls, and floors. Other things, like food or the rare crafted items are handled the way they are to likely drive the economy in each server so that there is incentive to do old content and to make gil.
Nothing to fix. What do you want fixed? It's been this way since housing has come out and it was an intentional decision by the devs.
