So anyone else got a extra member which isnt in your party list or alliance in a 8vs8vs8 you have for example 9 ppl on your team in 8vs8vs8? Got this like 4 times one time even in a 72 (was then 25 ppl in flame gc). Its kinda funny though

This happen too but it was a 24, is it a bug or SE watching and observing?

Pretty sure it's a bug. I've seen more than one person complain about it. There have been instances of people being swapped to other GC's at the start of the match, so one team ends up being shy one player, and the enemy team gets a bonus player who isn't even from their team. SE needs to work something out for that ... which probably means that we can look forward to some hotfixes and maintenance time ...

On a side note, the fact that this can even happen (glitch or otherwise) is kind of a slap in the face to people who complain about queue times. If players can get flip flopped around by accident, then why the hell isn't there a queue option or matchmaking algorithm that automatically does this to fill missing spots in the queue line?

I see this happen a lot. It actually places the 9th member in the alliance of another GC for some reason, leaving one GC with 9 people and one GC with 7 people.

i just got this. currently playing on flames but im an adders.
this happened when i joined in progress

It's definitely a Join-in Progress bug, the person who joined my (Flame) team was JIP and an Adder.

I'm noticing that everyone who's reporting instances of this is either a Flame or Adder. Is no one in Maelstrom experiencing this bug? Just curious.

Just had it with a flame joining Adders, was very odd. Hopefully they can fix this soon.

Every few matches, I see that when I sort by alliance at the score screen there would be either a flame on adders or an adder on flames. It seems to happen quite often, but I'm in mael atm and I've never seen any red names on the other alliances or vice versa, so it might be an adder/flame exclusive bug.
