Regarding Tier 5 crafting materia in 3.3

Yoshida has stated numerous time that tier 5 crafting materia was going to be abundant this patch, but the only new sources of t5 materia are aquapolis, the 5 from moogle rank ups, and converting old 170 gear. Am I missing any new sources?

Mutamix from T4 upgrade or T5 change

Already got 6 or 7 materia V of gathering and crafting

Also there is a desynth fish that give T5

I know that Argos in the Aquapolis treasure dungeons can drop tier V materia in deeper rooms - but I don't know yet if that materia can be crafter/gatherer. If he can drop crafter/gatherer, that would be another new source.

I haven't really thought of checking Mutamix...

If you give him 5 T5 materia he will give you an other one between those you did not give him

So giving 5 element can give you a crafting/gathering one

...

Note : the fish only give T5 aéro materia

He can, I was excited to get a V crafter materia the other day, until I realized it was CP+6.

But yeah craftmanship would be better and control even more

CP V is still useless in current item lv , all end game eq that can be melded with cp are either cp4 (1 T4 meld) or cp8 (2 x meld even use T5)

Neck/Ear/Wrist cap at CP+8. Since IV is penny candy and CP+4, that doesn't help a ton. If they had higher caps, then it could be worth something.

Everything else caps at CP+4.
