    Had a blast doing Nidhogg on Wednesday morning after patch. Granted I did come in around the mid 220s, but others were also new and in lesser gear. As a BRD, I was being incredibly watchful over the needs of the healers especially later into the fight, especially if they died for whatever reason but that's what the role requires. I found the difficulty of Nidhogg and Weeping City really great! Not faceroll, not as hard as Savage, but really fun . Please keep it as-is. Our item level and the game as a whole is ramping up mechanics (look at Midas for example), the playerbase can't simply remain as-is - we must rise to the challenge presented.

    Was in a part of those split-second clear or wipe situations earlier and does it hurt? Sure it does. But focus on redoubling effort or maybe if the group just can't do it, try to find another or make one. Barring that, just give it time. The patch has only been out a day or so now

    Its funny that ppl cry about nidhogg normal being too hard, but on the other side ex version is the easiest ex fight ever.

    Poeple are now too used too faceroll content. About what 5-6 years ago wiping on normal group content was pretty casual in almost every MMO.

    Now, grouping stuff have been made so easy that a single whipe usualy mean a group disband in any MMO beside maybe everquest 1 and everquest 2.

    I am a casual, I don't want normal single group content to be so hard it required 5 friends used to play together to beat it. But I also don,t want it to be so casual that even new content is beaten on the first try.

    This isn't the baby damage where you can get away with reactive healing or staying far far away for nothing. Don't hug the edge (or you will be so deep in fire columns you won't ever escape from). Use the CDs. Use barriers, hots. Remove debuffs. Be 110%! Follow directions on how to beat his tricks and you will make it.

    It's more healing intensive than other NM trials, sure, but if your healers are really struggling that much then I'd say there's also a problem with the tanks' CD usage. I tanked Nidhogg NM on my i205 WAR and, sure, it hurts a bit sometimes - but popping the right cooldowns at somewhat-right times makes it very manageable.

    I feel like this fight is just the right difficulty at the moment - it's hard enough that it feels like you're fighting "vengeance incarnate" and that you're ending a war, but mechanically simple enough that it's easy to learn the fight.

    The fight is fine the way it is. It has the right balance of Don't Stand in the big Glowing Ground effects, and Stack on the One single stack mechanic and kill the adds. That's it.. That's the fight. There is only One thing to stand in on the last phase. If your not standing in it, you're doing it wrong. it has the same STACK HERE ARROWS that Void Arc and Alexander have.

    If you are not standing in Akh Morn, you are wiping your group, which from what it sounds like is exactly what you are doing.

    I actually felt like the last phase was the easiest, because it's just a short rotation of attacks, with Akh Morn actually being a complete snooze as long as everyone stacks up. Still love that they included it - it was such a buttclench in T13.
