I went in as a i222 whm and found myself with no MP due to the serious aoe heal spam I had to dish out. Just barely held out in the final phase where he recks shop with that stacking aoe. If anything tone that move down a little.

he's got a enrage timer in his final phase if I recall
If you struggle to beat the adds dps check, just use the LB1 (either melee on one or mage/range on 2-3). Kill the random attacking first, 'cause this one can lower your dps on other adds by forcing you to move.
If you hear a thunder-like sound the circle 'Eye'-AoEs will appear -> run.
Stack the whole time while Akh Morn. Stack behind him, have the tank move to you. Place a area mark if you have to.
First/Last phase everything from almost the center of Niddhogs enemy circle up to the edge where the tank stands is a no-go area.
Like Sephiroths half arena cleave his firebreath can hit you there.

You know what has happened with final steps each time I have got it in the DF:trials? As a WAR who was OT, I did more DPS then any of the PUG DPS in the group (playing on PS4, so friend gave me numbers). Plain and simple, this far into the game people need to learn how to play or get stuck behind a gate that makes them learn to at least be decent. You dont need to play opimally, or even try in every fight/dungeon, but you need to know how to so you can when the time comes.
The same thing happens in midas normal, you see good tanks being the only people breaking 1k DPS.. people simply need to learn to play and try in these fights, they are not dungeons that your 30ilv above..

I dont know what you are talking about really. All it requires is everyone actually paying attention and at least decently knowing how to play their jobs (maybe a bit moreso on the healers at some parts) but I haven\\'t really had many problematic pugs so far with this. You are really overexaggerating some of these mechanics. And I'm willing to bet the "abysmal clear rates" were mostly just in the first couple of days of the patch, which is to be expected usually.
I\\'m willing to bet that SE is aware of the difficulties faced, the abysmal clear rates, and the astronomically high drop rates around the encounter, and that nerfs are incoming. And while a prideful part of me wants to clear it before they nerf it, I welcome the nerfs, because it means a group of total strangers will be able to win.

Cleared it every time I get it in Trial roulette. Might as well rename Duty Roulette: Trials to The Final Steps of Faith Roulette since i get it every time.
