Keyboard Shortcuts no longer working. Ex(Steam Overlay & Itunes)

****It would seem after a windows update or just restarting my comp the issue has resolved itself.****

With this most recent patch 3.3 I can no longer Shift+Tab to bring up the Steam Overlay, also I can no longer use my Media Control keys on my keyboard such as Play/Pause , Skip. The Windows commands work. I can Mute/Lower/Raise my Sound. I can Alt+Tab the game.

But it seems the commands are no longer working for certain applications.

*This is while the game is running. No difference in modes such as Fullscreen/Windowed. Once I Minimize the game. The commands work. Only when playing FF14 do they stop working.
