    Tri-Screen crash with nVidia surround

I just installed my second gtx580 into my computer, configured nvidia surround in the control panel, and everything is great. I try to launch FFXIV and it immediately crashes. I've updated drivers and everything else, with no luck. Computer is 100% up to date with a fresh windows install.

    ffxiv+SLI = bad, ffxiv+multi monitor = worse, ffxiv+SLI+multi monitor = BOOM
Have you tested with other games if it works at all? Tried to usual fixes (like disabling Aero)?
You will probably need a tool to configure the SLI a bit more (something like RivaTuner).

I disabled aero, ran in full screen and windowed, same outcome. I checked the sli profile and it is there. I wish the crash log would give me more details as to what's happening, but even in event viewer i'm not getting anything.

Fixed it. If anyone else has this issue, it comes from trying to run @ 5760x1200 at 9 OR 10 general draw quality.

5760x1200 @ 8 and below general draw quality works.
5040x1080 @ 10 and below general draw quality works.

So, have to either lower resolution or lower the general draw quality setting.

General drawing 10 multiplies the memory usage per rendertarget by 4 I think, 9 by 2. D3D9 simply can't handle that at such resolutions even with driver tweaking :/

General Draw Quality sets the size of the buffer for which frames are being rendered.

At a GDQ of 8 it equals your resolution, at 9 it is 1.5 your resolution and at 10 it is twice your resolution.

So a screen resolution of 5760x1200 with a GDQ of 10 would have the game render with a buffer of 11520 x 2400.
Add some AA to this and it just gets worse memory wise.
