Vanity Cash Shop

This can be done in a veriaty of ways without a cash shop, you wanna change your hairstyle, go to a barber and pay gil, you want scars get your sword and cut em yourself.

One thing I would like them to add is a system where you choose the gear you use for stats, but you can use the apperance of other gear for vanity sake so you dont have to be seen in that ugly gear that happens to have the best stats.

Oh yeah and cash shops have no place in P2P MMOs, the furthest I would want them to go is a small charge for server transfers, nothing else ontop of the sub.

Put those silly monster mounts in the cash shop so we can know who is foolish enough to spend cash on a mount.

We have "Crysta", It would follow up on their next 30-day subscription bill. Anyway, I don't support RMT on SEs account as much as I don't support RMT on 2nd, 3rd party accounts.

One of two options

1) cash shop, but free to play game

OR

2) no cash shop, and a monthly fee.

Anything that does both of these is being cheap for the sake of greed. Don't encourage it. I was hoping to see FFXIV go completely f2p a la Guild Wars, but after spending so much money on making the game better, that seems pretty unlikely.

Also, vanity items ARE a big deal for me. I treat my appearance as importantly as I treat my stats, so offering items like that in a cash shop is a game breaker for me. I spend enough money on clothes IRL - I shouldn't have to do the same in a game that I'm already paying for just so I can get the appearance I want.

I don't support "insulting" and there shouldn't be any need to be negative. Let's stay on topic and turn away from the "Bankers". Everything in-game is either won by reward or in-game currency.

As long as it doesn't give an advantage over other players, I'm all for it.

I like the new Crysta payment system... I'm buy my game-card in CASH. I register the card online to buy Crysta... and I pay in CRYSTA. I'm glad I don't have to compromise a bank account or worry about have a bank account anymore. The safe I need is in my room. Closed my checking account-I'm done.

I'm all for a cash shop on two conditions

1) The items give no advantages in-game, which has been said by OP,

and

2) They don't spend even a second developing it until they stop coming out with content like ifrit and the dungeons, which is a day I hope not to see for a very long time.

Cash shops take take away time from developing actual content, even if the amount of time is very small, which I highly doubt it is. And if they meet condition 2, then they're really at a point where they should move on to the next game anyway.
