How many of you guys got screwed by error 5006?

Pretty funny. I was all prepared to get a mansion, logged on the very second the servers became available...5006 error. Five times. Made even better by the fact that, for some reason, the entire game has to close for it.

An error I've never experienced before in my entire life of playing FF14, and it shows up literally at the worst possible moment.

I'm just curious to know how many of you all got screwed over by this unforeseen error that nobody could have predicted happening.

Even my friends who started the game after me got in-game before me...after 5 errors, I ended up in 800+ queue. Maybe next time, right? Nothing but "Tough luck," as so many people get locked out of certain content because they don't even have a house, because the system is atrocious and errors make it worse.

Guess they'll just have to sit tight for another 6 months-a year for more housing plots, or Ishgard housing. Can we have more plots, please?

I got the error 4 times, and ended up in a queue of about 390. I didn't get the plot that I wanted, but I still managed to secure the last mansion that was available in LB. Funny because people speculated the smalls would go instantly but on the ward I purchased they were there for a good while, but the large and mediums went so fast.

I got it like 10 times. then hello 1800 queue.

I got the error 5 times and then had to wait with almost 2k people ahead of me. . . A horrible experience.

Had it twice and then was in queue behind 1,892 others. At that point I knew everything had gone to hell already.
Luckily I snagged a personal house around 2 weeks ago and was logging to help my FC nab one.

They didn't, so I just donated mine to them, which was the main reason why I bought it.
I saw this problem coming a mile away, as well as many others did.

I got it 4-5 times aswell and then to +1500 que... I only worked my ass of with only gathering to get the gil for medium plot...

I got it 5 times, my co-FC leader did not experience it. We were voice chatting. Then after finally connecting to the data centre I was 1218 in queue, a third FC was also trying to get in at the same time (going after a personal small). She was got 4 times and ended up almost exactly 300 spaces behind me in the queue.

Luckily for us, my co-leader was able to get in queue quickly and we managed to acquire a Large house in the Goblet. It took me nearly 18 minutes to successfully login.

I was working together with my friend in an effort to try and secure a house. I pressed the green button literally half a second after her. She got into a queue at 86 and just barely snagged me the small plot I wanted, meanwhile I was thrown into a 1300ish queue after getting 5006'd 2-3 times. Apparently every single plot was sold out before I even got half way through it. I was lucky for the fact I had her. I honestly wasn't expecting the scenario to be 'this' bad. I'm sorry to everyone else who wasn't quite as lucky.

I got it 4 times. It put me at 1,280 in line. I missed housing. One of the rare drawbacks to being on a high pop server.

Logged on the second servers went live. Was ejected a mere minute afterward during a load, and was simply unable to log back in during a 2000+ wait.
