    but that's always existed, and for some, what choice do they have? for some (including myself in the past) how else are they to secure a plot?

    they are doing what must be done and in this case SE has no one to blame but themselves for poor management of their estate selling point. HOWEVER I think selling a plot for over quadruple what it's wroth is ridiculous and should be considered an absolute offense.
