Rowena tokens did nothing but gate newer crafts, which served the exact opposite of what everyone wanted. This divides people up based on whether you want to casual craft (use red scrips for ilvl 200) or grind for the ilvl 195 set and meld it to be better. Much better approach.

Do we know about the difficulty of new glamour pieces yet? I only ask because the thighboots from 3.2 were a 3 star craft, and really don't wanna have to hunt someone down again to make a level 1 item. Mainly asking about the Moonfire and Survivor's outfits.

Nobody likes favor grind, but this is blatent power creep. And this is a huge f-you to anyone that worked hard on any related favor activities.

If you worked so hard on these activities, then surely you must be sitting on 100+ mil by now, right?
You're making it sound like you went entirely unrewarded, but the amount of profit will say otherwise.

This is a catch up patch in preparation for the 4-star recipes being added in 3.4, it allows newer crafters to catch up on the 3-star requirements, as well as giving them more of a chance to be prepared for 3.4.

This. Even though I invested a lot of money and time in the 2star sets, the investment has more than paid off by now. If you started doing this shortly before 3.3, well then it's your own fault for being stupid.

The favor mats won't be completely worthless.
There's still the 170 accessories for both DoH and DoL that are crafted with them, and are quite viable alternatives to the new higher ilv ones.
Also.. glamours! The 170 gear makes for some nice glamours, and some people are too lazy to red scrip (now blue scrip) grind them and thus just buy from MB.
(170 dyeable, 180 isn't. I'm guessing the augmented 200 will look the same, but dyeable. Would be really cool if they had new looks though.)
