Edit: Glass Fiber (an ingredient in making Luminous Fiber) comes from Moogle Beast Tribe, it's basically the new Ehcatl Sealant. They can also be obtained by desynthesizing void ark and i180 crafter gear.

I wonder what the stats will look like on the "Augmented ironworks gear" and also how to acquire it. It doesn't seem like it will be done through crafting or through "goblin cups / dice" since it isn't listed in the splendor vendor items in the patch notes.

But it is listed in the "New items"

EDIT: It looks like the information on Ariyala's site is wrong. (or the patch notes are wrong).
Ariyala's site says the ironworks gear is IL190, but the patch notes say it is only 170. The "Augmented" version of the ironworks gear is 190.

The Augmented Ironworks/Ironworks gear in the english patch notes is a typo.
The i190 gear is simply called Ironworks, without the Augmented part, and is crafted.
The i170 gear is called Carbonweave, not Ironworks, and is also crafted.

The "Augmented <i180 gear name>" is gear that uses the gob cups/dice to be upgraded. (Example: Millkeeper's Saw (i180) -> Augmented Millkeeper's Saw (i200) )

Wow, didn't think they'd make the items 3 star +. Now I'm missing 5 Control after FC buff. Guess now the Carbonweave gear comes into play. I'm still using ilvl 150 gear for my feet, legs and hands.

Sure they are. But it's better to use the Carbonweave gear now.

This is my equipment with a few more melds so yea it is achievable easily if you were on 3* before.
If not you might want to make carbonweave stuff as it has the exact same stats as the i170 class-specific gear.

Glad I kept my BSM Specialist, the ALC specialist worries me, but knowing how these patches work, there will be plenty of players switching to ALC... but I have 1 specialist change ready if I really need it.

You can achieve those with overmelded carbonweave iLv 170, but the old gear works too cause it is the same ILevel. The new Ironworks set seems to be overpowered for that new difficulty, cause u can reach 995 Craftsmanship and 920 Control if melded with tier V materia.

Hm.. yeah, used Ariyala to sum up the stats.

Seems I can keep my penta-melded right-side i170 (accessories).
The new 195 are only better by 2 CP (..and slightly higher meld caps for craft/control. But putting V materias to make fully use of those 1-2 extra stats.. doesn't seem worth it.)

I didn't really gear up my crafters before 3.3, so only my BSM is with food barely able to 3-star, rest all at 2-star.
My plan is to finish putting my BSM in blue 180 gear (which I can later upgrade to 200), and craft the 195 main hand / off-hand tools.
Even unmelded they're better than 170 fully melded, and fully melded better than the 200 main/off hand.
