Didn't know you read my biography. Hope you liked it. As for plunge vs unmend, when the boss is pulled the boss is pulled. How you do it only affects the first few seconds. I've never lost agro from a plunge pull so unmend amounts to the same as plunge in my book especially since I follow it up with other agro skills. And you always face the boss away, this is such a cardinal rule that NOT facing it away is the exception. Using unmend only moves the boss closer, if the boss even CAN move. Better to instantly be on top of the boss with the first hit and follow with melee. Plunge freeze? Maybe like 2 seconds if that and that first hit is more than enough to hold the boss unless a blm cast flare or something. Once again IMO, but you'll ignore that and continue where the other thread left off won't you?
Also: the "real" raiding world? As opposed to the fake one? Don't make savage sound like it's a different game, just different mechanics.

"IMO" means that you can't provide facts and feasible situations which means that you lied. If you just want to save your face, rather than commenting, perhaps you can stop commenting on any thread that contributes to better skills. You have been here to say your opinions and not actually learning or sharing good info that are supported by real facts.
Often than not, raiders have more experience than you who have NEVER stepped into the most updated end-game contents (currently Midas Savage is where you are going to look at). So again, if you just want to spout opinions on threads that require you to analyze further, please stop embarassing yourself.

See? Just like last time. More baseless accusations and insults. Why did you even bring this up? /Washes hands of you."IMO" means that you can't provide facts and feasible situations which means that you lied. That was the argument on that other thread and I agreed there is merit to using unmend rather than plunge. That there are instances were you want to move the boss to the middle or wherever and if you do have a melee strong group it helps them.I just disagreed with the sentiment that pulling with plunge ever is wrong when there are also situations were immobilizing the boss right away and facing it away right away is extremely important not just in the case of cleaves but also tank targeting aoe from the boss. In my experience the sooner the boss is holding still, the more predictable it's movements are, the better off the group is. And I plunge for trash all the time for the same reasons, though that aforementioned thread was talking about drk openers specifically.

Clearly doesn't have a clue. Drks damage is fine.
Please let's not go through the Plunge thing again. ; _ ;

When you think about it, its really not so much about Plunge as it is about Unmend, as Plunge's place in the opening pull can vary depending on the fight. The important part is simply that you should never pull a boss without Unmend. Never.
