Tradesmen- Job for the DoL and DoH

I had an idea for a job for the DoH and DoL classes. The tradesman is a crafter or gatherer who can have a "friendly" beast race "pet" follow him around.

Basically giving a person with one or more of these classes the opportunity to make a deal with one of the civil beast tribes and get some support on the field. This gives them access to a "guardian" from the beast tribe they are dealing with, who travels with them as they play as these weaker classes.

Now being that they are not combat classes they would not be as powerful as a full on summoner or pet class, but they can provide some protection and perhaps as the player does more quests to upgrade the job the are given special summoning options that can call a really powerful summons for some gil (price depending on the strength of the creature) for a limited time.

I think it could be a cool idea, especially if they give the job an interesting back story like negotiations with beast tribes to gain their protection (your pet) and as you gain their trust they give you options to call on some of their more powerful warriors for a price. A chance to get a look into the job as well as the beast tribes themselves.

(Oh and please try to avoid parlay for this quest, unless you fix parlay and make it awesome)

I believe OP is proposing a way for crafters to engage in battle by using their economic and noncombat resources to obtain mercenaries, mostly from beastmen tribes.
