I was getting the same error people have been reporting but after closing the launcher a few times and reopening it fixed itself. I'm guessing it's just the high traffic towards the server

Reddit didn't give the details of how to fix the problem. The "BootVersionCheckMode 0" should be BootVersionCheckMode 1 to force your launcher to update...
