    The Scripts

    I have been telling ppl for months SE isn't the kind to quickly abandon system they put into play, rather they revamp and revamp and revamp until it's fixed or the ppl utterly hate it!!

    I for one love how they have kept the Script system relevant. Let's Talk RED FIRST

    RED scripts offer both in the short term, potential for new redscript vendor gear and in the long run, much desired Materia IV's!! I could not image a better use of the redscript!! Prior to this patch 3.3, ppl, like myself, that have been disinterested in converting our redscripts into favor crafting mats have been stockpiling redscript tokens ( I think i got like 67? i Know a few ppl that have more). With the advent of buying Materia IV's yet not getting more than a week's allowance of a head start over the late comers, they have done a great job at keeping the system balance!

    Likewise with the BLUE scripts!
    I have red a lot of complaints about the blue scripts esp on the crafting side; patch 3.2 attempted to make crafting blue's more useful however it failed mainly due most blue script mats were associated with CUL 3 star ONE YIELD FOODS......"aint nobody got time for that!"; Nevertheless with the increase on cul (and alc) crafting yields and the moving of favor gear materials down from red to blue scripts at a better conversion rate, BLUE scripts are looking "sexy"!!

    All in all SE does listen to its community and eventually comes out with something the lot of us will enjoy!!

    The CUL yield change isn't going to do anything for scrips. But they made them easier to get anyway.

    the Yield will reduce the unit cost of each item crafted; it will depend mainly on if the reduction in cost will drive sells on end game food! If for example the new food (which appear to be battlecraft food) along with the old food (that require blue script mats) can displace some of the older food like baked pipira pira.

    What's the main drawback on scripts? The tedious task of getting them and the slim functionality. While getting them hasn't change much (u can get more faster ) but they are increasing their functionality! FOR EXAMPLE I'LL CRAFT FOR 15MIN and get 9 CONTROL IV's for the week; TOOOO EZZ!!!

    Or Red script gathering (if the conversion from red to blue is advantages) reduce the time spent getting blue tokens for my folklore books.

    Seriously, it's SCRIPs, not scripts.

    "Scrip: any of various documents used as evidence that the holder or bearer is entitled to receive something."

    On topic, I agree with you. Once you have your scrip rotation sorted, it's a very minor grind.

    Actually I wonder...

    If you now make 3 items per CUL craft, if you made a collectible would you get 3 collectibles as a result?

    wait?? why of course not?? If anything they've probably adjusted the amount of scrips you obtain from these multiple items...
    [2.0] As per the above changes, the number of synthesized items requested for supply missions and crafting leves have been adjusted.

    if they made the changes for leves and supply missions maybe they also made the adjustments for scrips.

    I'm ok with scrips existing as a way for them to manage our speed of progression (450 weekly limit). I think the main issue is how scrips are earned. There's always a bit of annoyance each week doing the same arbitrary grind to get your items and submit them. Having more options which don't feel like a chore is my main request. Tribe quests, levequests, minigames / events, anything to add variety.

    I like weekly allowance for crafting scripts taking 15min tops to complete .... the fun is in the use of the scripts
