Unable to Update Client

Almost 1:30 edt and only about 4 1/2 hours until the game is scheduled to come up, yet they're STILL not letting us start the download for it.

I don't know how the PC downloads go, but downloading patches to PS3 or PS4 is atrociously slow when the patch servers are busy (or pretty slow even when they're not). A full-sized patch is likely to take significantly more than 4 1/2 hours to download. They really need to get the patch servers up far earlier than this.


EDIT:
Patch servers came up just before 2 am edt, four hours before end of maintenance.
Patch size: 717.25 MB on PS4 (not counting download of the launcher itself)
Download initially estimated at about 2 hours, but that's likely to double or triple as more people hit the patch servers and download speed slows down.


EDIT 2:
ok, about 45 minutes into the download now, and not only hasn't the estimated time increased dramatically like it usually does, but it's actually decreased a bit. Looks like the patch servers are holding up better than usual and there will in fact be time to finish downloading after all.
