I could never figure out why SCHs want to manually cast embrace. Especially on the MT. It might be a free cure, but it's still costing you time and key presses that can better be served mitigating. Even if you mac it. Place her by the MT and focus on proper micro management of their other abilities. If you have all that covered, then manually casting it during a CD should be quite simple. There is almost always something more worthwhile to cast than the embrace your properly placed fairy already has covered.

Manual Embrace does increase your HPS, as that forces the fairy to also heal above the 80% HP threshold and she won't change targets if other party members meet the threshold. Second, fairy has a 21-yalm auto-embrace. To go beyond that without fairy placement you need to manually use it. It's pretty useful to keep a tank going and handling other party members or sticking to some DPS.

I keep my fairy on auto (Sic) and have no problems. It may increase your HPS to Obey but HPS is not a cut/dry process.

I think I'm missing something about your statement here...what else can I possibly be doing mid-cast as a SCH, other than commanding my fairy? You can't even toggle oGCDs like Cleric Stance or anything in the middle of casts like Bio II/Miasma/Shadowflare/Physick/Adlo. There is nothing else I can think of that I could be doing as a SCH mid-cast other than using SOME manner of fairy ability, whether it's Embrace or one of the other ones. Am I wrong?
