Would like to see these features added.

1) Bring us back the Legacy Chocobo Barding for all players, in my opinion it is the best looking barding. Love the tattoo on the beak.

2) Give the races more options for tattoo's (especially the Hyur) and the ability to place them other places than our face...(shoulder, back, fore-arm) along with this, have a tattoo design contest like with hairstyles and add those to the game.

3) It would also be very cool to have "cross-class" appearance options...(like Au Ra eyes with there glowing ring on a Hyur) to make character customization more unique and vast. I also love the scales on an Au Ra, but the horns are a bit too much for me? So the ability to add the scales to another race would be amazing.

1) No. It's called Legacy chocobo for a reason.
2) That has been suggested several times already. Personally, I like it, but think it takes too much resources for something I don't really care about and that would be hidden most of the time anyway.
3) The races are way too similar already. If the few things that make them unique would also be available for any other race, we'd end up with one big ugly stew with everything mixed in. 100% against it.

I'm really sorry, but the Legacy Chocobo was a thank you from Square Enix for sticking with the game at it's darkest ebb and supporting ARR's development. Bringing it back would completely trivialize that support and be a massive slap in the face to all Legacy members like me. Other things from 1.0 I can support returning, but the Legacy Chocobo is the exception, due to all that it represents, I'm sorry.

Legacy members get a discount. No one ever asks for the legacy discount, because SE is financially supporting you after you financially supported it.

I don't personally want anything from legacy, but it's not like the items are your only benefit, for your "charitable" deed.

Had i of started MMOing back in the legacy days, i would have, i would even pay money to have the legacy barding and tattoo. I have and will always support Square and FF games. I know about the discount. and i agree it was nice that they did something as a thank you for legacy players. Its just not fair in a way that ppl who came to the game AFTER that event...with no knowledge of the "dark past" and how ARR fixed it....can't have those options either.

It's like getting a bonus for being born in 2000 when u were born in 2005....you had no control over that. Especially if u have every intention of sticking with the game even back in the dark days. I want the gear bcc i believe i have the heart of a legacy player, and everything that comes with what that means to S.E. (Speaking dramatically) Keep the discount for the ppl that were around during that time. Thats cool. Thats fair. Give them something as a thank you. But the aesthetics? i would like those.

It's not similar to being born 5 years earlier though. It's more like seeing a new-founded country and saying "yeah I'm not moving there, they don't have health care yet, no roads and everything about living there seems horrible, those poor fools who move there" and then, a few years later, when the country has established itsself and is now a great place to live, you move there and see that the country has nice little extras for their founding members. And then you request to get those extras too, because, hey, it was totally not your fault you didn't move there when the country still looked bleak and ready to fail, right?

Actually i guess if we get technical...its like never knowing about that city....then moving there...then seeing all the benefits of the people who lived there b4 you. Im all for uniqueness in a game? But i dont like that...i SHOULD have the option to pay S.E. if i wanted too what Legacy players paid as a one time option, and get the chocobo barding and tattoo as a "thank you"

I'm not a legacy player, but I don't think they should bring back the legacy barding or tattoos. They stayed around after the original failure, and if you ask me... They should keep ALL of the things they got for being legacy players strictly to legacy players. It's a special thank you from SE. Just because you "didn't know about it" back then, does not mean you're entitled to the rewards that were given. We already get items from all kinds of other events, let the legacy peeps keep the special items. Even I think it would be insulting to have them obtainable now.

Respectfully i disagree, i see your point? About letting legacy's have there stuff and we keep ours...but everything non legacy players have....EVERYONE ELSE can get...there is NO exclusive content that im aware of, that somebody else cannot grind or pay for via mog station. It seems that only the legacy stuff was TRULY exclusive. Bcc we cant get it in any way. And when we speak of rewards? its not like legacy players cured cancer or anything lol...its not like they did the world a great service by owning accounts back in 2011...they were just there...right place right time...LUCKY! i dont believe this should be insulting to anyone, i could see them getting mad bcc now everyone can have what they have and they wanna feel special? but getting insulted over that?...in the true sense of the word? thats wrong....and to give them truly exclusive content just for being aroundt? WOW nice! lucky for those players on that side of the fence who were simply around at that time...but that doesnt sit well with me IMO.

The way i see it, if it was a "reward" at all...it was a way to say thanks for funding this game...which is why i think if someone wished to donate a set amount towards FFXIV dev team through MOG station or something...even the 90 day amount they paid for back in 2011...they should be entitled to the tattoo and barding as a symbol that "you supported us" to me its kinda the same, whether i was around in 2011 or not. either way they get there money, and everyone is equal.

p.s. Do we non-legacy players have exclusive content that legacy players cannot get? Are there any items im not aware of that are indeed truly exclusive via events and all that??? I know that i mised the snow/lightning event that was avail....but then they went and stuck the stuff on mogstation for anyone to get. And apparently Yoshi wants everything equal, Thats kinda what i mean about how only legacy has truly exclusive content.

Non Legacy players do not have exclusive content. Because they're Non Legacy players. They're just players who did not participate in a game that was so poorly designed that a company had to physically remake the entire game and issue an apology.

You don't deserve anything, because you did nothing. You don't get to buy rewards you didn't earn. We earned them by purchasing and playing a game that was not so great. The fact you want things that you aren't entitled to is comical in that you think having a credit card should entitle you to them.

No. No to your idea, no to your "I'm a legacy player at heart" ideology. You didn't play, you can't have them. That's the way it is, the way it should stay, and the way the majority of us appreciate it.
