Mm sounds like bad translation memory from folks watching LL30 stream. On the official LL30 recap thread they clarify "In Patch 3.3, we'll introduce every piece of equipment for the crafted version, but for red scrips version, the secondary tool, belt, and accessories will be added later in Patch 3.4."

"Red scrips version" being the set you buy solely through tokens+receipt, not the meldable crafted stuff.

i195 tools --> New tools using 3.2 mats. Be thankful if you saved up mats like I did and that once again us high end gatherers can make a lot of gil off this stuff. Like holy crap this stuff is gonna sky rocket.

ilvl 170 gear --> this is the new craftable catch-up gear, not class restricted, easy to get materials

ilvl 190 gear --> this is the new best in slot craftable gear, needs a lot of 3 star mats and another possibly restricted mat (luminous fiber --> glass fiber)

ilvl 195 tools --> same as ilvl 190, but needs less mats

ilvl 190 accessories --> they already told us they were going to add new accessories in the last live letter

Yes, it's written in the patch notes.
1 Red token can be exchanged for either:
- 1 Blue token
- 1 Grade IV materia

Blue tokens are now used for getting the old ilvl 180 "red scrip" gear.

These patch notes make me glad I've got 500 red gathering scrip saved up, 500 red crafting scrip saved up, as well as 98 each of both types of red tokens.

Really, those of us who stockpiled tokens should be happy, for all the Materia we can get now. And with the low 500 cap on total held red scrips (per type) it made a certain amount of sense to stockpile them for a little over one week's reset worth.

Of course, with the crafting/gathering stuff coming out on THURSDAY as opposed to today, you still have time to get yours stockpiled, unless you've already gotten your 450 crafting and 450 gathering red scrips this Thursday->Thursday week.

Ok. Since crafting is my life in this game, I want to make sure I understand this correctly.

The goblin stuff is used to augment what was (formerly) the red scrip gear to make it i200 and therefore BiS without a huge outlay of cash on overmelding.

Blue crafters tokens are now used to buy the stuff used to make the all purpose 190 gear.

Also do I understand right that the old red scrip tools are now easier to get? Because I'm using adamantite still on some things.
