So basically you use the new Augnented crafter gear to get your stats up so you can craft the ironworks? Or something....



On a side note they changed the Gridania example pic of the new arrows leading to new areas on the map & removed the arrow that pointed up bc it was "content still in development" HINT HINT

Then I hope the ilevel 170 gear give at least crafter/gatherer materia V, or they will be pointless if the new gear up climp just jump over them.

There seems to be an error in the patch notes: recipes for Carbonweave Crafting/Gathering gear exist, but are not on the new item list. I take this to mean that there was a translation name change somewhere (probably because the Ironworks isn't actually Augmented so they made the better version Carbonweave).

From what I can tell the Crafting/Gathering gear tiers are supposed to be like this:

i170 - cheaper overmeldable -master "Specialist" gear and more expensive overmeldable Carbonweave "Generalist" gear
i180 - unmeldable -keep gear
i190 - overmeldable Ironworks "Generalist" gear
i195 - overmeldable Primary and Secondary tools
i200 - possibly meldable Augmented -keep "Specialist" gear

i170 < i180 < overmelded hq i170 < hq i190 < hq i195 < i200 < overmelded hq i190 <= melded i200 <= overmelded i195
