You probably are. I doubt they'd let us get all the new stuff day one cus we stockpiled. You know Se love to balance stuff, or try to anyways.

Hey, thats 30 grade IV materia which frankly will become useful with our melding. I doubt it, you're gonna rage in fury.

If this didn't give some people a headstart, something else would.
Being able to be online more, getting the patch downloaded faster, spending more time crafting than others.
There will always be some ahead of others, if they did it like this in the patch or differently.

I don't blame SE. If they wanted to avoid the small head start some will get then they would need to make a new system for scripts, like yellow scripts or something, and idk if they wanna do they yet, or at all for that matter.

They can anticipate things, but it doesn't mean they will avoid every pitfall possible, sometimes there are prices to pay. SE isn't stupid.

Probably. I'm assuming it's also specialized crafting seeing as the current replica stuff is no longer specialized.
