These seems to be the conversion rate. I didn't see how many red scrips you get now per collectible turn in or if that has been adjusted. I have about 112 Red Tokens and am not sure is they can be used for this now. Can I buy back red scrips with the tokens?

Like I said it's not clear if you can buy the upgrade material with red tokens, or as stated only red scrips. Personally I wish you could buy them with red tokens because most of us will have stockpiled the tokens and NOT scrips. Those who stockpiled on the 500 max scrips can upgrade to 190 out of the gate; the rest of us have to grind the weekly again.
Maybe there will be some time to use the tokens before the scrip update hits (on the 9th).
Could we use the tokens to purchase the red crafter / gatherer splendor vendor gear before the 9th? In that case, we can make use of some of our stashed tokens.
That wouldn't make sense. Why would you buy the splendor vendor gear now for 18 tokens (Body) when you can exchange them after the update for 8 tokens?
the red scripts can also be used to exchange for material that will allow you to buy augmented Tools/gears for crafters/gatherers you require around 50 red scrips for 1 of those material and you need 13 of those to get the augmented gears/tool (sooo around 650 red scripts for 1 tool/gear) so still quite a grind not too bad but still quite. so I would use your red script to buy that material and get blue scripts for the base tool/gear that can be augmented with the new material
Sooo confusing LOL
yep finally someone that can synthesize !!! my hero !!

This is so weird... so we, that actually work hard to have all Gatherer/Crafter Gear..are stupids, cause it doesnt matter all the red tokens you have.. they are useless!.. (and Gatherer Materia IV it is not a worth!)
THX Yoshida, for all the wasted of time i spent gathering or crafting to cap tokens weekly... ¬¬U..thanks so much!

It's essentially just like the battle gear, all the lore your collecting now will be really easy to get in 3.4 and a new tomestone will be added. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of it either. Seems like you can still buy the stuff for lvl 170/180 gear with your red scrip tokens. It's just not the highest item level gear anymore. This is so weird... so we, that actually work hard to have all Gatherer/Crafter Gear..are stupids, cause it doesnt matter all the red tokens you have.. they are useless!.. The planned obsolescence is so good you would think Apple makes FF14. Depending on what these recipes look like i might just finish my HQ lvl 170 sets, get to 3 star, and call it a day until next expansion.

It's not, for a start when the new battle gear comes out, people know in advance. well in advance. They also know if they have a stockpile of whatever tomestone, they can still spend it on gear. They also know they can keep their lore (up to 2000) for purchases after a patch. They've basically dumped this on us with no notice, while all the time forcing us into buying the tokens because the cap was a crappy 500. And to make it worse, if you got this week's tokens you're screwed, someone is already 500 ahead of you for no good reason. If they did that to the battle classes there would be pandemonium.
