I really hate the secrecy and just wish they gave us all the info in the patch notes.
Edit:
I saw this:
See that? That is the correct way to do patch notes when it comes to new items. The full info (where, who, and how) should be present in the patch notes for every item/mount/minion they add.The following items can now be purchased from the Vanu Vanu beast tribe vendor:
Vanu Vanu Head/Vanu Vanu Body/Vanu Vanu Arms/Vanu Vanu Waist/Vanu Vanu Legs
* Players who achieve Bloodsworn reputation will be able to purchase these items from the beast tribe vendor using tokens or gil.
The following items can now be purchased from the Vath beast tribe vendor:
Gnath Head/Gnath Thorax/Gnath Arms/Gnath Abdomen/Gnath Legs
* Players who achieve Bloodsworn reputation will be able to purchase these items from the beast tribe vendor using tokens or gil.

Battle on the Big Bridge, On Windy Meadows, Twilight Over Thanalan, Whisper of the Land and Dragonsong orchestrion rolls are go!YES!!
And it seems I picked up on something on the prelim patch notes in an earlier thread which SE has since changed - the modification to maps to show red arrow marks on the map artwork where zone lines are, and one was shown on the map for Old Gridania in a location that is not accessible at this stage - the full patch notes have a changed example map with that particular arrow now gone and a note below stating that the earlier notes showed an image for content "that was still in development." Still, my mind boggles at the potential future possibilities that particular zone line will have (Lily Hills).
To be honest I am not all too happy about the new crafting updates.
I just can't help but wonder "what was all the work to gather all those items and scrips to get that gear for?"
I know no one "forces" us to get new newest gear, but I just feels like after working very hard to gather mats and make the highest level crafting gear, the requirements to make it / get it get nerfed super hard.
I think it's good that they added new gear and new methods to acquire it, but why severely lower the requirements to get the old "top-quality" gear? Why not just keep it the same?
The other updates look really nice, but some stuff made me lose interest in crafting / gathering in general. If things can be acquired so easily now, what was the point in working hard to get them before?
And removing specializations? I know a lot of people wanted this, but I don't understand why. Is it really so difficult to find someone who has a specialization and ask them to make it for you? I never had any trouble with this.
Personally, I like having specializations because it added a little uniqueness to people's crafting abilities. Why is it necessary to remove them?
I liked to main crafter and was trying to get the red-scrip gear for gatherer. It is too easy now. And I feel like there is even no point in getting the next level of gear either. Now I don't know what I want to do.
Is there anyone else who understands this feeling?
EDIT: I have a better idea for an update: Remove this crazy-short character limit in the forums.
Something tells me I should have stockpiled on those seemingly useless crafted things that are going to end up on the new crafting gear, like sewing thread etc.
I have no foresight.
Hi Selli
How did you do your Signature with those 5 pictures. It's really good :-)
I got you, fam.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. XD
[EDIT]D'aww, thank you! c:
I originally couldn't decide between which of the two images in my signature that I wanted to use, so I Googled some templates and found this one. I just made the squares, gave them some shadow, and threw the images between the frames and the shadows, and erased any extra parts. [EDIT2] Oh and then I added my name and some hearts and things. XD

It seems like they're removiing specialist requirements from old recipes, so it's accessible by more people. Most of the recipes added in this patch will most likely be specialist though. They always do this. Keep things exclusive for a while, then make it more accessible later, when it's no longer new content. And removing specializations? I know a lot of people wanted this, but I don't understand why. Is it really so difficult to find someone who has a specialization and ask them to make it for you? I never had any trouble with this.
