Sounds like a flaw then. I've seen and reported bots who auto killed monsters from the safety of a wall, maybe it's a minor hack. Be sure to report it if you haven't already.

Actually, this may be a non-issue. The area where I've noticed this is a dungeon though I don't have access to it yet. Based on some quest text and other answers in another area of the forum, it looks like this may be intentional; i.e. the terrain goes away later in the game so is not "solid." Whereas I've experienced a similar issue in areas outside of Ul'dah, those are significantly more minor, and only a part of you gets buried in the terrain... which is probably just the way the graphics engine works; i.e. you can sort of "merge" into terrain at angles for a certain point before you snap out and above it. So, this is probably not a bug at all! I'll find out sooner or later.
