Exactly what I've been hoping they would do.The economist in me would advocate a system wherein market forces can determine equilibrium, such as an auction system or one where initial prices were stupid high and came down over time until buyers are found (not unlike the current system, but with higher starting points and lower ending points).

if RMT is an issue why not just make 1 or 2 wards where you buy houses through the mogstation. E.g. $150 for a large, $75 for a medium, $50 for a small. That cuts out the RMT, and gives people who want to spend IRL money an opportunity to do so.
Mew!
That would be awesome. I would pay for it if I could get a house plot thorugh the mog station.

No thanks! Houses or wards should never be on mog station, why does everyone wants everything on the mog station when we already buy a sub...? They should fix the damn feature instead

I totally agree. Don't really get the reasoning behind it. They need to fix housing but not by making people pay more.

Prices do not need to be higher.
A limit on how many houses a single account can own needs to be put in place.
This must be a big server issue. Cause all us little servers never see this issue. On Zalera it took weeks for all the houses to sell that became available durning the inactivity purge that started.
maybe its S.E's way of telling ppl cluster humping each other on large servers, to move to smaller ones. On Zalera it took almost 3 weeks for all the houses to sell from the 45 day demolish timer. I find these large server woes rather amusing.
