Trouble beating "Familiar Faces" as a ninja

Like the title says. I'm having issues with this quest and can't seem to beat the duty. I delete the healers immediately and go for the squishier guys but just as I'm about half done with the 3rd guy the next wave shows and I get overwhelmed and die.

Is there a good trick for this one?

Doton and Death Blossom are getting buffed in a couple days that should help. What kind of cross class skills are you using? something like second wind (if you can use it as nin) might be useful. If you know a friendly WHM maybe a protect and stoneskin before the duty would be useful too?

Buffs wear off automatically upon entering the Duty though (it's a solo fight). From what I remember of that Duty (I did it as a GLA/PLD), it's kinda like the earlier "Reason Roalie' fight back in the 2.X storyline - groups of Garlean soldiers that constantly spawn in waves and mob you, with several magitek weapons showing up later.

Besides what you already know about trying to take out the healers and ranged fighters first, the best advice I can give is to try and stick close to Alphinaud, as he will heal you with Physick if you're close enough to him (plus his Ruby Carbuncle is pretty good at tanking and dealing damage). Don't forget also the Echo effect will kick in if you fail the Duty quick enough or fail it enough times.
