Hello!

Someone on my server was selling a medium plot in PF for 24mil, but this was only to relinquish their hold on it. Don't you still have to pay for the plot of land AFTER someone relinquishes it? Sorry, I am new to the whole housing thing.

I get that there are new plots coming out with the patch, but isn't this against the TOS? Does anyone have proof that paying someone to relinquish is against TOS, so that I can educate my friends? I would hate for someone to get their house taken from them, or banned because they didn't know.

Yes, you have to pay for the plot at full price after it's relinquished and as far as specifics I think someone else pointed out in another thread how the GMs might see it as against TOS, but I don't think there's anything specific that says not to sell them. People have been getting warnings and such from GMs over it though and it seems to be a grey area that each GM sees differently. Not worth buying considering the upcoming patch is decreasing prices and greatly increasing the housing available (as well as the possible issues if the sale is reported).

if u get alts and buy multiples houses for re-selling, that is for sure against TOS

I have seen a few of those "real estate agents" but I definitely steer clear of them. It's good to know that it's a grey area though. I'll just make sure everyone only gets their houses "directly from SE".

Specifically it's against TOS to sell plots you own. Having multiple houses is not against TOS.

still cant figure why a "normal" ppl want more than 1 house.
may be someday they fix this problem i really hate the RMT, gil sellers, and cheaters in this game. probably a huge % of the player base must stop playing for get the atention of SE (sweet dreams)

Then when we finally hit rank 6, we bought a FC house, and I rather like my house in Mist so I'm not letting it go. There are legit reasons, I get you want a house, but crying about everyone being cheaters kinda diminishes your claims.

no1 say "everyone" but if u think there's no cheaters in game... well. what can i say?

I know of a few resellers that haven't been banned, not that I condone it. But like Dustytome said, more housing on Tuesday, so there's no reason to buy from another player at the current inflated prices.

but, what if this guys who buying mutiples houses with multiples alts get all the houses? ( extreme example, i know it, but is possible) the only way for get a house in that case:

1. buying from another player (re selling)
2. wait for next patch (more plots)
