Amazingly bad drop rates for loot from certain duties

Anyone experienced this? Like, have you ever run dungeons for gearing up/glamour and not seen a certain piece of loot at all? For me it's the Coat of the Daring Duelist (DRG chestpiece from Pharos/St Mocianne level 60 dungeons). I have been doing these dungeons fairly regularly since they were introduced and never once seen it drop. It's the same for the Dravanian Maiming coat... actually, a lot of dragoon/casting pieces never drop but monk/ninja pieces drop like rain. (mourns for the demon maiming from WoD that eludes everyone to this day)

Yesterday I ran both dungeons continuously for 8 hours while farming TT cards from NPCs in between and not once did I see it. But I saw every other chestpiece those dungeons gave. Same thing happened once when we were farming the Dreadwyrm casting chestpiece- 78 runs, not a single sign of it.

RNG is RNG I know, but this is pretty ridiculous o_o

RNG is most likely the universe messing around with you, focus on getting something else and the card will drop, its a fact.

lol, my RNG luck has always been amazingly bad, but this just beats everything I've suffered so far- not counting the 80+ runs of Ravana and not seeing a single bird or worse, the pre-nerf atma grind...

Long chains of bad RNG makes the Alex token system look ok. Let's hope we get the pieces we want from Weeping City in the first few weeks without needing to do a hundred runs.

I hope so. Of course, with my luck, I'm only going to see ninja and monk pieces 5ever or something /cries into the night

WoW had such a system, it has up and down, The bad is mostly that it start feeling like a grind so they removed the system. Now you can choose personnal loot so drop aren't shared with others. When a boss is killed a /random check is made for everyone and if you score the right number you get a loot. So that one on a boss kill everyone may loot something and some other times nobody will get anything. And they try to implent a system were it will give more chance to earn the items you didn't already looted.

So if you already got every single items from a boss the next time you win the RNG roll agaisnt that mobs the chances are that you will earn that so wanted piece of gear you were farming but you still have some chance to get something you,ve already looted.

I just wish there was a way to balance out what drops you get. I've been doing the dungeons for three hours again today, and so far it's been monk chest, nin chest if a chestpiece drops. Caster/dragoon/healer/tank pieces are rarer, and the last boss mostly drops pants. If only they'd work on how many drops- I mean there are four people per party, so at least try and do two loot drops, and increase the 24-man/8-man raids to 3 or something.

And I'm hitting day three with a very religious drop rate of Trousers of the Lost Thief at the last boss. Amazing design, S-E, really.

I think out of the 100 or more runs i've done in Fractal and Nevereap the Ninja chest has only ever dropped once.I wasn't a ninja at the time of course.
It's RNG though like everyone has said.I bet there are other players who see this chest piece the whole time.And i secretly hate them for this XD

I feel your pain, and at this moment I truly wish to laugh or cry or both. If it helps, I very rarely see the ninja chestpiece myself, so! Actually as of late, I have been seeing more pants than anything, it's like the game has it out against me :'(
