Any news for what is in store with 4k Updates and Additions as previously announced?

After reading the patch notes top to bottom I see nothing mentioned about any 4k Updates or Additions to enhance the 4k experience in the game. I sure I read somewhere that they would be rolling out slowly and by patch 3.3 should be fully implemented. Forgive me If I read that wrong. Can we have a mod or dev update as to the state of the game @4k and where it will be going in the future?

Beginning to think nobody either plays this game in 4k or cares at this point. Every thread that comes up gets looked at then passed on to the basement of general discussion.

4k is a niche still, there plenty of people out that that have not moved to blu-ray yet and still use DVDs little alone 4k.

Considering that the recent benchmarks showcasing even the newly-crowned "king of GPUs", the GeForce GTX 1080, shows that the majority of games are still between 30 and 60fps at 4k (SLI notwithstanding), do not expect any official 4k support for this game, if ever.

In all honesty, I'd prefer support for DX12 before that, and I don't even expect them to do it.

4k means high resolution for your computer monitor. 4096x2160 is the typical 4k resolution. 2048x1080 would be considered 2k resolution with 1920x1080 close behind it. Resolutions

As far as updates, I have not heard of any either. I think you have to have a pretty beefy rig to run this game in 4k and I highly doubt there are very many people capable of it. SE probably isn't devoting much effort on that front due to the relatively low demand.

As a side note, how well does the game run in 4k mode? I have 2 R9290s running at 2560x1440 windowed mode and I get around 35-40 fps average. I couldn't see anything but nvidia titans or the new 1080s running things smooth at 4k.

You can switch between resolutions (at least on PS4)

Like with DX11, they can make it client side and just don't give every client that update, but only those who can work with it.
