i support yoshi 'wooohooo go yoshi'....about as far as that goes. the hard work being done now should have been done 5 years ago and before they launched.

Five years ago, Tanaka was on board, not Yoshi. Cut the man some slack, and learn that things change, and to accept that new things will take time. What's the point in saying that stuff should be out five years ago? No point, because the dev team can't go back into the past. I see nothing constructive in your post that aids in the development or planning of ideas for the game, save the already old complaints that bear no fruit. While I disagree with OP, she has at least made an attempt tothink of an idea that she believes will allow for player enjoyment. What do you bring to the table? If you realise what I said, I merely disagreed with her. I did not troll her, I did not call her out. All I did was not like her post. I have done nothing else apart from that. If that somehow makes me a troll, then 90% of the forums are trolls.

And maintaining your very biased view of the game, insulting others who don't agree with you, calling out on others people's opinions while yours remains untouchable, is what I call forcing your opinion on others, while disrespecting everyone else's. And as you say, no one has to like it, who cares. However, it seems that you care about every post that does not support you view so much that you just have the urge to insult them. Over generalization, hyperbolic statements, tasteless wordings are what you are full of. The most hypocritical, egotistical and self-centred user of the forums I've seen. Grow up. But you redeem yourself with some nuggets of opinions that occasionally makes it through, for example, your last sentence. If you didn't carry yourself around with your harsh tongue, and instead stated what you wanted directly and simple, as the last sentence did, no one can fault you. But it's your attitude and lack of respect for others opinions that has people always going against you. Correct that, and maybe people will be more accepting of you.

I propose something similar but within the developer’s office, we would like to watch you all work on v2.0 almost like we watch sports on television or a reality TV show without the commentary or “drama” just work like you have been day by day and forget the camera’s are there. Set up live 24/7 webcam feeds behind key members of the developing team including over Yoshi-p’s desk and all meetings with adequate audio and video. We want to see the inner workings and provide our own play by plays and speculation. Also post on a blog all concept art and someone who will show us video footage of current in house builds and shows us what’s been changed and what bugs are there and where progress is on v2.0.

We can’t just rely on a promise from Square Enix anymore we are investing our money in to this project so like the concerned investor we want to see what’s going on.

The OP's suggestions are decent, but I don't think they go far enough.

Therefore, I have put forth some additional demands that I feel my $12 entitles me to (beyond playing the game):

• Manditory GPS trackers on Yoshi-P and each team member so we know where they are at all times and can gauge their sleep/work/freetime ratio.
• Personal phone numbers and e-mail addresses of each and every FFXIV dev member so that we can reach them at home and demand status updates on 2.0.
• VPN access to all the dev computers so that we can make changes to things we aren't happy with.
• Access to all SQEX employee vacation/personal time off records, so that we can approve any time away from the project.
• Access to all SQEX employee medical records just in case they try to take a sick day - We need to be able to verify that they are telling the truth.
• A large monitor wall where we can post images of ourselves so that when the workers enter the building, they can bow to us and sing a song in our praises.
• Motivational posters like this one in every cubical, and on every desktop wallpaper.

Don't you get tired of posting the same garbage over and over again?

SE will charge you when you voluntarily turn back on your subscription in December. If you do then you have nobody to blame for being charged but yourself.

Please do yourself a favor and take a break until 2.0 if you hate the game so much. Or possibly just don't come back all together.

I think part of the reason for the hostile reaction to the thread (despite the huge invasion of corporate and personal privacy that the suggestion entails) is the topic.

Compensation for the early sub fee.

The sub fee is not early. It's just that the game is not free anymore. They're no longer giving away the game for free, but rather than shutting down the servers, they're offering us a chance to pay to keep playing.

If they had instead announced a plan shut down the servers entirely and told us to come back for 2.0, I know some of us would be on the forums asking for a chance to pay to keep them up. That's who the target audience of 1.20 is. For that audience, the subscriptions are not early. They are not premature. Calling them such is part of the argument for those who want to keep playing for free. Whether you're paying or or not, your post is going to attract flak for using that rhetoric.
