Proper grammar and punctuation are very important; these have very different meanings: "Sally loves eating her family and her friends" and "Sally loves eating, her family, and her friends". One is perfectly acceptable, the other is...not.

As for your points, Maim is basically the same as Darkside, except you need to spend a GCD every other combo (or so) to keep it up, and Darkside buffs other abilities (on top of the damage boost) at the cost of MP (which isn't an issue if you're a half-way decent DRK). Storm's Eye, like Dancing Edge, also buffs other tanks' and NIN damage.

Now, if you want to compare Fell Cleave to Carve and Spit, compare the rest of the skills as well. Skull Sunder is 200 pot, Spinning Slash is 220 pot. Maim is 190, Syphon Strike is 250 (had to double-check this one. Twice). Butcher's Block is 280 and Power Slash is 300. Souleater is 260 (400 w/DA!), Storm's Path is 250. Storm's Eye is 270, Delirium is 280. Hmm...interesting that all comparable DRK skills are more potent than a WAR's are (except Hard Slash and Heavy Swing, both at 150 potency). DRK do nice, consistent damage over a fight (with proper MP management); WAR are more bursty when Berserk is up.

I'm gonna regret saying this but WAR is about 100 damage per second over Paladin & about 80 over Dark Knight, potency sounds nice on paper but in practice WAR stomps both Tanks....unless you mean tank stance, then they're all really close in damage(even Paladin)

Yeah, that was just a potency comparison because Berserk and Fell Cleave together is crazy damage (also why I didn't mention Berserk in the post). But without Berserk, WAR DPS is, well, nothing to write home about (since its just potency + Maim +/- Deliverance/Defiance, whereas DRK is always potency + Darkside - Grit + Dark Arts effects).

And really, 100 DPS difference isn't anywhere near OP at the DPS levels we're at now (*looks at the current BRD and MCH, and the "balance" between the two* I'm really hope the changes bring them closer, but I do think they need something else done). The tanks are fairly balanced right now, especially when they're actually tanking, as you said.
Sometimes I feel like people only see the big numbers of Fell Cleave and ignore everything else, or aren't as good at their job as they think they are and need something to blame. Was going to play around with some SSS with the same gear (weapons from Seph EX, since I only have one 230 tank weapon right now) for PLD DRK and WAR, but Adamantoise died

You are right, but if the game designed WAR for OT and PLD for MT and DRK somewhere in the middle, i think its okay that they deal that amount of DPS. however i dont think they deserve such tank stance in comparison with the other two tanks.

(if you use mitigation properly). you have more options and ofc more risks too and i like that. i just dont think they should be that much of a beast while MT with the defiance buffs and all but thats imo.

While a great WAR is as easy to heal as a good DRK or PLD, an average WAR (even many "good") is a pain to heal.

Defiance boosts HP by 25% and healing received by 20% (and lowers damage by 25%. Yes, WAR lose a full 1/4 DPS in tank stance), but Grit and Shield Oath reduce damage by 20% (Grit lowers damage by 20%, Oath by 15%) It sounds like WAR is better on paper, but really, DRK and PLD are still taking less adjusted damage (and are easier to heal). Reactive healing vs preventative mitigation. It does matter.
