Not sure what it is but this patch notes doesn't feel as good as the other ones. Nothing here really surprised me like the other ones did.
Cordials can now be crafted. I think this has literally been requested since the games release and now they're finally adding it. Alchemists and gatherers rejoice.
It is useful, just it's too situational. It doesn't have the same wow factor as any other skill Jobs get when they reach 60. Yanno the "oh wow I'm so glad I'm a *insert Job*" feeling. Like the old Lustrate had.

And...no nerf on crafting red scripts. I guess a server transfer mission is in order.
Is it reset Tuesday yet.
I question whether I'm playing a PvE game with PvP mixed in, or I am I playing a PfG.
Those Katon, Doton, and Death Blossom buffs get me hot.
Also yay bard.
>_> Is it bad that the thing I was most excited about is finally being able to hide quests? lol
The pattern of the cloth looked a lot like previous Commendation rewards rather than Field Commander's Set. Other than being white (and having minor red decal) it doesn't look that much like Field Commander's gear. It is also missing the strong presence of black that the FC set has (especially on the helm which is the most armor-like peice on the set and it's black with gold decal).

Though, because there is no commendation achievement listed in the pre-notes, despite how perfectly it fits with the previous commendation rewards, I think it's safe to say that it is not.
Not really. Maelstrom's logo is a boat and the symbol doesn't even look like it connects on the bottom, which is where the Maelstrom logo is actually thickest. I don't think it looks like any of the GC symbols to be honest. o.o" I think it's just a random decal.Plus if you look at the side of the mount, it does /kind/ of look like the Maelstrom symbol.

I agree. My main reasoning behind thinking that this is a PvP mount is because the only 3 other armored horse mounts in the game all come from PvP, so that's why I could see them throwing this into Shatter. Especially to hype it up. I'm really hoping it isn't the Kirin of Warsteeds (get all 3 Warstreeds to get this mount, which is 100 wins on each GC) as that would be most painful. XD But it doesn't really have the look of all 3 GCs for me to believe that (specifically it's missing blue/black for Flames).I'm thinking this might be the Field Commander's Pegasus or something similar. And if they want to get people into PvP, what better way to do it than to add a double mount?
I do believe they also stated before that they wanted to do something with getting the PvP mounts flying. ADS flies, Gloria flies, but none of the GC horses do and I think that they should stay as ground mounts, personally. But this is a good compromise for having a armored flying horse. Though, I must admit the white Pegasus looks very different compared to the dark horses with Noct-like armor.

I strongly agree with this as well. I could see this being a 1,000 or 2,000 Mentor Roulette in an attempt to get more mentors or more mentors to actually do their Mentor Roulette. But I have a feeling this would backfire horribly. People would just grind Mentor Roulette on an unpopular language in attempts of getting runs with their friends, or speed running the roulette, or even kicking new players. :c That's why I really hope it's not.I didn't see anything else that seemed like it would lead to a mount, and I'm hoping they stay true to their word and say that mentors will not get additional rewards to keep people from getting the status for the wrong reasons.
